Woman found dead in bathtub, deputies say case is ‘suspicious’

The following is a news release from the Teton County, Wyoming Sheriff’s Office.

TETON COUNTY, WYOMING — On Monday April 24, 2017, at 7:59 a.m., Teton County Wyoming Sheriff deputies were dispatched to a residence on Ponderosa Drive for an unresponsive/possibly deceased female.

The 26-year-old female was discovered by a roommate partially submerged in a bathtub full of water.

Teton Fire EMS determined the female was deceased.

There were no obvious signs of trauma on the victim. While the death is suspicious in nature, no foul play is suspected.

No cause of death has been determined. Sheriff’s detectives are awaiting findings from the Teton County Coroner’s Office, and are actively investigating the death.

The deceased has been identified as Alexandria “Lexi” Lee Frank.

Frank is from Willoughby, Ohio and has been residing in the Jackson area since September 2016.
