IDAHO FALLS — The 4th of July is less than one month away and organizers of the Mountain View Hospital Riverfest celebration are ready to present the biggest festival east Idaho has ever seen!
Families with kids of all ages are invited to attend the free event at Snake River Landing starting at noon on Independence Day. Some activities will be offered for a small fee.
The map below shows the exciting events featured in the festival, including the Stevens-Henager College Kid’s Zone, Eagle Ridge Ranch horseback rides, a wagon ride perfect for the entire family, the Rexburg Motorsports exhibit, entertainment from the Teton Toyota Stage, over 20 local food vendors and more.
The festivities will continue up until the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration featuring the biggest fireworks show west of the Mississippi River.
“This is the perfect way to spend the 4th of July with your family,” Riverbend Communications General Manager Bill Fuerst said. “Bring your blankets, find your spot to watch the fireworks and come have fun with us.”
Specific details about traffic flow, vendors and other information will be released in the coming days to local media and on the Riverfest Facebook page.
