Severe thunderstorm warning issued in Fremont and Madison counties

REXBURG — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm alert for southern Fremont County and northern Madison County until just after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Quarter size hail is expected, which may cause damage to vehicles.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
Impacted communities include Teton, St. Anthony and Newdale.
