IDAHO FALLS — A crash downed power lines at the intersection of Utah and Broadway in Idaho Falls around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

A pickup hit a power pole and a cinder block wall at Excellence Heating & Cooling, which brought down power lines. City of Idaho Falls spokeswoman Kerry Hammon said those lines were secondary and so power was cut to three buildings in the area only. Those lines are now secured, she said.

A man was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

City power, police and firefighting officials responded to the wreck.

Information on the cause of the crash has not been released.

As of 7:45 p.m., traffic was moving on Broadway, and police were directing traffic on Utah.
