POCATELLO — Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a gas station robbery in Pocatello on Wednesday.

On Thursday morning, Pocatello Police detectives observed Nathan Wright, 23, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Colten Hernandez, 22. Police recognized Wright as being a suspect in the Wednesday robbery of a Chevron gas station 506 S. 5th. Detectives and patrol officers attempted to stop the vehicle in the 100 block of Warren Street. The vehicle fled from officers and a short pursuit ensued. Police say the suspects stopped and fled the vehicle in the alley west of Willard and Pine.

Wright was quickly apprehended by officers. Hernandez was located hiding in a yard on Warren Steet and was challenged by a police K-9 at which time Hernandez surrendered without incident, according to a news release.
