IDAHO FALLS — Reed’s Dairy fans will have the opportunity to attend the ribbon cutting of the dairy’s brand new dairy store and ice cream shop.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m. in celebration of the new larger dairy store at 2660 West Broadway in Idaho Falls. Ice cream and grilled cheese sandwiches will be served following the ceremony.
According to a news release, as part of the celebration, Reed’s will be offering specials on a variety of their products throughout the rest of the week. Thursday will be free soft-serve day. Reed’s is also hosting a raffle that will go to benefit The Haven. The raffle will go until Dec. 30.
The new store can now sit up to 40 people as compared to the previous 12 people at the old store. It will offer 24 flavors of ice cream and eight flavors of Italian Ice and custard for Gelati. The new store will also feature a soft-serve machine for Reed’s Dairy’s old-fashioned soft-serve ice cream mix.
Aside from frozen treats, tomato basil soup, grilled cheese and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches are on the menu. Patrons can also purchase fresh milk, chocolate milk, eggnog, chocolate nog and a variety cheese products.
