REXBURG — Convicted embezzler Jennifer Jill Handy has again been arrested for allegedly stealing from an Upper Valley employer.

Handy, 39, was arrested in Rexburg on Thursday and booked into the Madison County Jail. She was charged with four felony grand theft charges and three felony computer crimes for allegedly stealing more than $4,000 from RentMaster, her former employer. The exact amount of money reported stolen has not been released.

Handy, of Rexburg, was already on probation for embezzling more than $105,000 from the Forsberg Law Office in Rexburg, where she worked from 2008 to 2010. She was convicted on four counts of grand theft and sentenced to three to eight years in prison in 2010, according to court documents.

Handy was released from prison in 2011; however, her probation was extended through 2019 last March, according to court documents.

No specific details regarding the alleged thefts have been released, but Rexburg Police spokesman Capt. Randy Lewis said Handy has been under investigation since December.

Handy is expected to appear in court soon.
