Man killed in snowmobile crash in Fremont County

ISLAND PARK — A snowmobiler was killed in Fremont County Saturday evening after striking a tree with his vehicle.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded to the snowmobile trail between Last Chance and Ponds Lodge in Island Park at about 7:30 p.m.
A rider, who has not been identified pending notification of his family, had lost control of his snowmobile and hit a tree, according to a news release.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
