Power restored to customers in the Upper Valley

REXBURG — Crews are responding to a power outage that is affecting 1,041 customers in Madison County.
The outage happened around 9:30 a.m. Friday and is affecting Rocky Mountain Power customers near Moody Road.
A Rocky Mountian Power spokesman say a troubleshooter is patrolling the lines to determine what caused the outage. A circuit breaker at a substation opened, which usually means there is a problem. The substation is being checked as well as the line involved.
Crews hope to restore electricity around 12:30 p.m.
