Idaho State University presidential applicant withdraws

The following is a news release from Idaho State University.

POCATELLO — Idaho State University presidential finalist Ricardo Azziz, M.D., has withdrawn his application and the search will continue with the four remaining finalists.

Azziz is current chief officer, Academic Health and Hospital Affairs at the State University of New York (SUNY) System Administration.

The four remaining finalists are Robert Marley, Ph.D., provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs, Missouri University of Science and Technology; Kevin Satterlee, J.D., chief operating officer, vice president and special counsel, Boise State University; Charles “Chuck” Wight, Ph.D., president, Weber State University; and Laura Woodworth-Ney, Ph.D., executive vice president and provost, Idaho State University.

Each finalist will visit campuses in Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Meridian over two days to meet with faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members. Satterlee and Woodworth-Ney have completed these visits. Wight is scheduled to visit March 5-6 and Marley is scheduled to visit March 7-8.
