Woman rushed to hospital following crash on I-15

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.

SHELLEY — On March 13, at approximately 8:57 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle crash northbound I-15 at milepost 106.5, near Shelley.

Alli Russo, 19, of Claremore, OK, was driving a 2000 Honda Civic northbound on I-15.

Mario Hill, 58, of Menan, was driving a 1997 Kenworth dump truck northbound on I-15. Russo was driving behind Hill and collided with him. Russo then crossed both lanes of travel and came to rest in the median.

Hill was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Russo was transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. The slow lane was blocked for the investigation of the crash for approximately three hours.
