FORT HALL — On Monday evening, April 2, the Fort Hall Police Department was informed by the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office that their deputy was in pursuit of a black suburban driving at a high rate of speed, traveling northbound on Rio Vista Road on the Fort Hall Reservation.

FHPD located the vehicle on ‘D’ Avenue and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop and drove down Agency Road to Siler Road and on to Fielding Road to Reservation Road. FHPD continued the pursuit on Ballard to Hi Line Road, then southbound to Reservation Road where the front passenger side tire was spiked by FHPD.

After being spiked, the vehicle continued to drive on a flat tire in the Fort Hall area and came to a final stop at Ballard and Rio Vista Road. Fortunately, the high-speed chase did not injure anyone or any property.

The FHPD officers took three adults into custody:

Tremond Cerino
Kyler Preacher
Samantha Yazzie (driver)

All three were transported and booked at the Fort Hall Corrections at the Tribal Justice Center.

The individuals are charged with illegal possession or consumption of alcohol, and the driver was charged with DUI and Obstruction.
