The following is a news release from the city of Idaho Falls.

IDAHO FALLS — Beginning Monday, August 13, 3H Construction will temporarily close 8th and 9th Street from South Holmes Avenue to South Higbee Avenue for the replacement of water lines.

This project requires closure of the roads on this city block for approximately six weeks, barring unforeseen conditions. Detours will be marked.

Residents in the area will have access to their homes and driveways. While on-street parking is not prohibited, it is not recommended during construction. However, there will be times during construction when on-street parking will not be available.

The contractor will notify property owners if they find it necessary to turn off water service to homes for any reason. If water service is disrupted for more than a few hours, the contractor will provide temporary water.

Please reduce speeds, obey posted traffic control signage and watch for construction crews in the vicinity.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. If you have any questions about this project, please call 3H Construction at (208) 589-7713.
