IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Education News and EastIdahoNews.com will partner on a regular news program spotlighting local and statewide education issues.
Idaho Education News’ East Idaho reporter Devin Bodkin will appear regularly as an education news expert to discuss topics from policy creation and implementation to best practices in teaching and learning. The program will be hosted by EastIdahoNews.com News Director Nate Eaton.
The segment, “Beyond the Books,” will provide commentary and analysis on education news in both east Idaho and from across the state.
“Idaho Ed News provides the best education reporting in the state,” Eaton said. “We’re excited to partner with them to take a closer look at education issues that impact everybody.
Eaton said the segment will likely air at least monthly, depending on the flow of news and will feature analysis from Bodkin and Eaton as well as education leaders and lawmakers to discuss education issues.
“We’ll explore and explain important subjects that matter to parents, teachers and students,” Eaton said.
The first episode is scheduled to run Monday and will focus on charter schools. Look for it at East Idaho News and Idaho Education News.
