Teenager arrested after making threats on social media

BLACKFOOT — A 15-year-old male has been taken into custody after making threats on social media.
Blackfoot police reports show at about 8 a.m. Tuesday, officials at Bingham Academy notified the Blackfoot Police Department that a student threatened violence at the school via posts on social media.
The Blackfoot Police Department immediately responded and took the juvenile into custody.
He is being charged with threatening violence upon school grounds and is currently being held at the 3B Detention Facility.
The teen’s name won’t be released to the public due to his age.
