The best places for fall family fun in eastern Idaho

EastIdahoNews.com reporters Rett Nelson, and Natalia Hepworth wanted to separate the pumpkin patches from the corn mazes and took a small excursion into east Idaho’s backyard.
Here are some non-haunted attractions for your pre-Halloween amusement.
New Sweden Farms

“I think (New Sweden Farms) is the most family-friendly,” owner Deby Infanger says. “The biggest problem we seem to have here is that the kids cry when they have to go home.”

Boo at the Zoo Idaho Falls
What is it:

Boo at the Zoo at the Idaho Falls Zoo is set for October 25, 26, and 27. Hosted by Tautphaus Park Zoological Society (TPZS), Boo at the Zoo is one of Idaho Falls’ largest fundraising events and showcases an amazing array of lights and lighted displays, dozens of decorations, twice-nightly costume contests, kids’ games, and trick-or-treat stations hosted by area businesses and organizations. This year’s event will be larger than ever with more lights, new lighted sculptures, multiple entrances and more space inside the zoo than ever before!
