REXBURG — Idaho Central Credit Union is teaming with the City of Rexburg to bring pianist and Youtube star Jason Lyle Black to the upper valley.

Jason Lyle Black performed a sold-out Christmas concert in Rexburg last year. Black raised more than $8,000 in a Kickstarter campaign to release his new album of Disney favorites. Since visiting Rexburg last year, Black has traveled the world as a headline performer in places like West Africa, Japan, Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii. Black will be launching a US tour in 2019.

This year’s show, “A Magical Christmas,” will feature new Christmas arrangements from his new album “Friend Like Me,” special community guests, and live requests from the audience.

“I’m thrilled to be coming back to Rexburg,” Black says in a news release. “Rexburg was one of my favorite stops on last year’s tour.”

“A Magical Christmas” is happening at the Rexburg Tabernacle, Saturday, November 24 at 7 p.m.

“We are thrilled to have Jason Lyle Black back in Rexburg,” Rexburg Cultural Arts Director Jackie Rawlins says. “Our community loved his last performance here.”

“This is a concert you don’t want to miss,” says David Love, owner of Love Family Piano and co-sponsor of the concert. “Jason knocked the socks off the audience last time he was here. And this year will be bigger and better.”
