UPDATE: Parts of I-15, ID-33, and ID-32 closed due to high winds and blowing snow
Published at | Updated atDUBOIS — The Idaho Transportation Department closed sections of Interstate 15, Idaho Highway 33 and Idaho Highway 32 Sunday due to high winds, blowing snow, and reduced visibility.
The I-15 closure is between Dubois at milepost 167, to the Montana border at milepost 196.
The ID-33 closure is between Newdale at milepost 107 and Victor at milepost 132.
The ID-32 closure encompasses the entire highway between Ashton and Tetonia.
It’s not clear when any of the highways will reopen.
Most of eastern Idaho is under either a winter storm advisory or warning. As a result many highways in eastern are listed as in difficult condition due to winter storm conditions.
