Fire damages modular unit at Pocatello school

POCATELLO — On Monday, Nov. 11, at approximately 10:00 p.m., emergency units responded to a fire in one of the modular units at Lincoln Early Childhood Center.
The damage caused by the fire was contained in the modular unit and did not impact the main building.
The Pocatello Fire Department is currently investigating the cause of the fire, which appears to have initiated in a heating unit.
Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 announced today that it is canceling classes for both the Early Childhood Center and Head Start.
