Firefighters battling house fire near Rexburg

THORNTON – Firefighters are working to put out a house fire near Rexburg.
Isaac Payne with Madison County Sheriff’s Office tells EastIdahoNews.com a double-wide trailer at 3800 South in Lyman caught fire around 6:20 p.m.
A neighbor noticed the flames and called it in.
Deputies with the sheriff’s office were the first to arrive and did not find anyone inside. Firefighters arrived a short time later.
The cause has not been determined at this point. Payne isn’t sure when the fire will be out. We will update this story if we get any additional information.
