GENTRI bringing Christmas concert to your couch with live stream show

  Published at

IDAHO FALLS — COVID-19 didn’t stop one of eastern Idaho’s favorite music groups from performing this holiday season and now you can watch GENTRI’s Christmas concert from the comfort of your couch.

Brad Robins, Casey Elliott and Bradley Quinn Lever took the stage at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah for two shows on Dec. 5. The audience was socially distanced and attendees wore masks during the performances.

The concerts were recorded and GENTRI is rebroadcasting the show worldwide during a live stream Saturday night.

“Every year we look forward to our Christmas shows. We did over 20 Christmas shows last year and this year we only got to do two shows in one day,” Robins tells EastIdahoNews.com. “We are so fortunate we get to rebroadcast it for all of those who either didn’t come because they didn’t feel safe or couldn’t make it because we couldn’t travel.”

GENTRI will be joined by special guests including Mat and Savanna Shaw, Jay Warren, Nick Johnson and Ryan Innes. The concert can be watched live at 7:30 p.m. Saturday or on-demand through Dec. 27. VIP tickets that include a post-concert virtual after-party and signed album are also available.

“Obviously nothing can beat the energy and excitement of a live show but surprisingly the energy (with this concert) translates through the screen. We really hope people will tune in and share in the Christmas season the best way we know how to share it,” Robins says.
