Mother of 10 battling breast cancer surprised with gifts from Secret Santa

  Published at

A Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many individuals in our community as he can.

Shanna and Brandon Wheeler have ten kids. Eight of them are adopted and have some kind of special needs. They have fostered more than 30 children over the years and open their home to anybody who needs help.

Earlier this year, Shanna was diagnosed with breast cancer. While this was happening, their oldest daughter was fighting a life-threatening infection. Brandon had to quit his job in hotel management and start working at a gas station closer to home to be close to be with Shanna and the kids during this crazy time. He frequently has to drive back and forth to Idaho Falls and Salt Lake to take Shanna and the kids to various doctor appointments. Brandon is always smiling and you never hear him complain about anything.

Secret Santa asked if we would surprise the Wheelers with an early Christmas gift. Watch the video above to see what happened!
