Death investigation underway in Lemhi County

SALMON — The Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident that resulted in the death of a man.
It happened Tuesday in a remote part of the county, according to a news release from Sheriff Steve Penner.
“The Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho State Police are investigating the incident and the investigation is ongoing,” Penner said. “Parties involved are cooperating with law enforcement and there is no threat to the public.”
