ER nurse overcome with tears during Feel Good Friday surprise

EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Idaho Falls and Pocatello are partnering to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.

We recently received an email about a nurse named Barb working at Bingham Memorial Hospital. It said:

I have had the honor to know Barb for a couple years mainly through working with her and her taking care of my mom in the ER. To know Barb is to see a bright shining light in the darkest of days. She is always there with a smile, a hug or even just a sarcastic comment to brighten your day especially when you needed it the most.

Barb goes above and beyond for anyone she meets in her work life and her personal life. She is the most sweetest, sarcastic lady ever. About a year ago Barb was diagnosed with cancer but that did not stop her from being a shining light in the world for everyone else and she recently beat it! We are so dang proud of her! I would love to nominate this amazing one-of-a-kind lady for Feel Good Friday because she goes above and beyond for everyone else.
