A Feel Good Friday sendoff for a man who has worked for Idaho Falls Parks and Rec. for 38 years
Published atEastIdahoNews.com and Ashley in Idaho Falls and Pocatello are partnering to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.
Ronnie Campbell has worked for the Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation department since 1985. He became superintendent in 2016 and has overseen maintenance and operations of cemeteries, parks, outdoor facilites, the Riverwalk and more.
“His upbeat personality and hard work and loyalty to the city is going to be incredibly missed,” said Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation Director PJ Holm. “He worked under four department directors and he’s the most loyal employee. If you’ve had kids work in Parks and Rec anytime in the last 35 years, they are a better person because of their time working with Ronnie.”
Today is Ronnie’s last day on the job and we wanted to surprise him for Feel Good Friday! Check out the video in the player above.

Feel Good Friday is sponsored by Ashley and Ashley Outlet in Idaho Falls, where we are committed to being your trusted partner and style leader for the home. Ashley also seeks to inspire the love of home and enrich others' lives.
