IDAHO FALLS — Bundle up your goblins and ghouls! It will be dry but chilly for trick-or-treating on Halloween night in eastern Idaho.

At 7 p.m., it’s expected to be 39 degrees in Idaho Falls, 29 degrees in Island Park, 44 degrees in Pocatello, and 39 degrees in Rexburg, according to the National Weather Service in Pocatello.

“So it’s going to be probably right around 45 to 50 (degrees) in the afternoon, but when kids start going out, it will be in the mid-30s to mid-40s,” said Greg Kaiser, an NWS meteorologist.

Overall, Kaiser says it’s going to be good weather for trick-or-treating — for eastern Idaho, at least.
