Idaho State Police responded to the fatal crash on Sunday before 8 p.m. on U.S. Highway 30 at milepost 417 in Bear Lake County.

Anderson was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Impala, according to ISP. She had a child with her and was headed west.

A 2014 Toyota pickup, driven by a 44-year-old man with a 42-year-old woman and two juveniles, all from Montpelier, were traveling east. Anderson crossed the center line and hit the Toyota, ISP says in a news release.

Anderson was taken in an ambulance to a local hospital, but died from her injuries.

The other victims were also hospitalized. It’s unknown what their conditions are, but ISP says they were wearing seatbelts.

The crash remains under investigation.
