Twin Falls police searching for suspects in double homicide

TWIN FALLS —- The Twin Falls Police Department is searching for two suspects related to a shooting that left two men dead, according to a news release from the department.

The incident occurred on Friday, Dec. 1, at about 8:20 p.m., police said.

Twin Falls Police officers were called to The Tint Shop at 2487 Kimberly Road for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, officers reportedly found two bodies. The victims were identified as Jaime Bravo, 26, and Jesse Ortiz, 36.

“Our deepest condolences go out to their families and loved ones during this difficult time,” officials said.

The Twin Falls Police Department has posted pictures and video of the suspects on their Facebook page. In them, both suspects can be seen wielding guns. Watch the video in the player above.

Police are asking for the community’s cooperation to help bring a “swift resolution” to the case. Anyone who can identify the men is encouraged to call the Twin Falls Police Department immediately.

Police believe one of the suspects may go by the nickname “El Guero.” Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous, police caution, so do not approach them.

The Twin Falls Police Department is working with the county prosecutor’s office and collaborating with the other law enforcement agencies, they said.

“We want to assure the community that we are dedicating all available resources to bring those responsible for this heinous crime to justice,” Acting Chief of Police, Matthew Hicks stated in the release.
