You have to see this! Man narrowly escapes death as runaway saw blade heads in his direction

A RUNAWAY BLADE — An Oregon man had a close call with a four-foot concrete saw blade that barreled across a parking lot, nearly striking him.
Surveillance video shows Shane Reimche walk into a convenience store and shut the door behind him seconds before the saw blade took off. The blade broke loose from a nearby construction site, zoomed through the parking lot and embedded itself into the store’s exterior wall — only inches away from the door Reimche shut.
“I put my hand on the door, and I heard a loud bang and yelling over here at the corner just as a cloud of smoke pops up,” he explained. “I see a guy falling into the ditch and a four-foot blade hurling at me.”
Intense video of the incident shows the inside of the store shake as the blade hits the outside of the building.
A contractor on the scene who witnessed the ordeal said the blade may have gotten loose from a lost bolt, in addition to potential operator error.
“I was thinking maybe it was my time,” Reimche stated. “I don’t think I would have survived getting touched by that thing.”
