We had to go back twice to deliver a Secret Santa gift to this kind, hardworking man
Published atA local Secret Santa is giving $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season and the East Idaho News elves are helping out.
Every day from now until the end of the year, we’ll be posting a Secret Santa surprise, and today we are visiting a man named Ramon.
He is an awesome person who has gone through a lot over the past decade. He is the kind of person who always helps others when he can.
With his broken English, he manages to communicate with others and make their day by saying cute word rhymes like “okie dokie smokie.”
Over the years, he has had his leg amputated, open heart surgery and now is dealing with dialysis. However, being able to be the provider for his sick wife is very important to him.
He is still working at a potato warehouse even as he gets older and with his medical conditions. With never ending medical appointments, going to work to provide for the family and grocery shopping, it has been difficult for everyone but Ramon keeps his smile and rhymes to try and make everyone he knows happy.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to pay Ramon a visit and drop off an early Christmas gift. Check out the video in the player above.
