The Idaho Falls Fire Department was called to the 6000 block of West 33rd South in Bonneville County around 4 a.m. in response to a report that a farmhouse was burning.
When crews arrived, the structure, used to house chickens, was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters began fighting the blaze and a water tender was brought in as the property is not located near any fire hydrants, according to Idaho Falls Fire Department spokesman Eric Grossarth.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control and cleared the scene around 6:45 a.m. Nobody was injured.
