IDAHO FALLS – A driver is being cited for reckless driving following a two-vehicle crash in Idaho Falls Tuesday afternoon.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. near Compass Academy at 955 Garfield, according to Idaho Falls Police Department spokeswoman Jessica Clements.

A driver in a Toyota Tacoma was headed east on Garfield and hit a parked vehicle on the side of the road. The driver’s name was not specified.

The collision caused the Tacoma to spin and then roll. It landed upside down, based on pictures witnesses sent to EastIdahoNews.com.

One person was in each vehicle. No one was injured, but Clements says the driver of the Tacoma is being cited for reckless driving and a cellphone violation.

Garfield is closed between Spruce and Tabor, as of about 5 p.m. It’s expected to re-open soon.
