REXBURG — Police officers in Rexburg are responding to multiple crashes across the city Wednesday evening due to slick roads.
“It might seem like the skating rink is already open with the current road conditions,” the Rexburg Police Department posted on Facebook.
Police say the worst area is South 2nd East – especially between 2nd South and 3rd South.
The city’s Streets Department is working on sanding the streets. The police department asks drivers to use extreme caution.
“Thank you to all the helpful bystanders that have helped push or pull stuck vehicles!” the Facebook post says. “Leave lots of room, brake early, and make your appointment to get better winter tires.”
