MCCAMMON — A boil order issued in McCammon earlier this week has been lifted and water levels are satisfactory, according to a news release from Bannock County.

The boil order went into effect Tuesday at 7 a.m. after the well pump failed. The boil order was issued in conjunction with a water system improvement project. Officials had to shut the main line down to avoid contamination.

As of 11 a.m. Friday, the boil order in McCammon was lifted.

“DEQ results for the affected well came back satisfactory, along with approval to lift the boil order,” the county says.
