UPDATE: Rexburg woman killed in rollover crash south of Pocatello

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police. As of Wednesday evening, the names of the victims have not been released.
POCATELLO – Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:44 p.m. on May 28, 2025, on I-15 at milepost 62, south of Pocatello.
A 26-year-old female from Rexburg, Idaho, was traveling northbound on I-15 in a 2010 Toyota Corolla. The female driver failed to negotiate a curve, went off the left shoulder and into the median. The passenger, a 26-year-old male from Rexburg, was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. The female succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The roadway was blocked for approximately two and a half hours.
The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

Idaho State Police reports a man and woman were traveling together in a Toyota Corolla.
The woman was driving and was killed.
The man’s condition isn’t clear, but he was taken in an ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center.

INKOM — A driver is dead following a single vehicle rollover crash near Pocatello Wednesday afternoon.
Lt. Todd Orr with Idaho State Police tells EastIdahoNews.com it happened around 3:45 p.m. at milepost 62, which is the gap area between Inkom and Pocatello on southbound Interstate 15. Two people were involved.
The cause of the crash isn’t clear.
Orr did not know the driver’s gender or have any details about the make and model of the vehicle. The condition of the passenger is also unknown.
Emergency responders are still on scene, as of 5 p.m.
The left lane is currently blocked to traffic and Orr says it’s likely to remain that way for at least the next hour. Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
Bannock County Search and Rescue is helping ISP with the response.
