Idaho Lottery launches $1 million raffle

BOISE — The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle is one of the most widely anticipated games from the Idaho Lottery every year. This marks the nineteenth year for the popular, annual holiday Lottery game that features two guaranteed top prizes of $1,000,000.
Sales on the game began Tuesday at 4 a.m. Mountain Time. In addition to the two $1,000,000 prizes, this year’s game also offers one $100,000 prize and one $50,000 prize. There are only 500,000 tickets at $10 each for this year’s Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle and when they’re gone, they’re gone.
“Players should get their tickets early because this popular game will sell out fast,” said Andrew Arulanandam, Idaho Lottery Director. “We want to remind everyone this game features two, one-million-dollar top prizes. Last year, regrettably, one of those $1,000,000 prizes was never claimed. So, after you buy your Raffle tickets, store it in a safe place and please remember to check it right after Dec. 29, 2025.”
Last year’s version of the game sold out on the first Friday of December. The winning numbers were announced three days after Christmas and one of the $1,000,000 prizes from a ticket sold in Ada County was never claimed.
Besides the two guaranteed top prizes of $1,000,000, new this year, there is a $100,000 and a $50,000 prize, in addition to over 21,500 other prizes. The Raffle features 15 daily, $1,000 winners drawn during the first 15 days of ticket sales chosen at random from the previous day’s sales. Players can also win $1,000 if they purchase one of the twenty, 25000th tickets (numbered 025000, 050000, 075000, etc.) during the game.
Players who win $1,000 from one of the 25000th tickets or one of the first fifteen days’ $1,000 prizes must claim their prize at the Idaho Lottery offices in Boise. Their ticket will also remain eligible to win additional prizes in the Raffle, including the $1,000,000 top prizes.
Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle tickets will remain on sale until the last ticket is sold. The announcement of the winning numbers is Dec. 29, at 5:59 p.m. Mountain Time.
