You have to see this! A terrifying moment when a carnival ride snaps midair

ONE WILD RIDE — A heart-stopping moment was caught on camera in Spain when a slingshot ride snapped in the air with people inside.
The incident happened April 24, 2026, at “Feria de Abril,” a popular fair in Seville, Spain. The video was filmed while riders were on the attraction called “Steel Max.”
The capsule had just been launched into the air when all of the sudden, one of the two cables connected to the capsule broke off. Video shows the capsule go crashing into one of the ride’s steel support beams and forcefully bounce off of it.
Witnesses can be heard screaming as the terrifying scene played out.
KTLA 5 reports that four people were injured, including two boys who were seated on the right side of the ride. Officials said all injuries were minor.
“That one cord saved their lives,” one viewer wrote about the viral video that shows one cable still attached to the capsule.
The incident is under investigation. KTLA 5 said the parents of the injured children said they plan to sue, while city officials insist the ride had previously passed inspection.
