Is HomeGoods coming to Idaho Falls? Here’s what we found out.

IDAHO FALLS — A store known for its ever-changing selection of home fashions in kitchen essentials, lighting, bedding, bath, furniture, and more has plans to come to Idaho Falls.
According to Idaho Falls Community Development Services spokesman Cody Roberts, HomeGoods has pulled a permit for a tenant improvement at the old Joann Fabric building located at 2406 South 25th East. That means there will be plans to renovate the inside of the building.
The building is located next to Ross Dress for Less.
“But final inspections have not been requested yet to issue a certificate of occupancy,” Roberts told EastIdahoNews.com.

There’s a sign sitting inside the window, painted red with spray paint, that says “HomeGoods” and is signed by B-Davis. Another sign in the window says that B. Davis, Inc., a construction company, is hiring superintendents.
EastIdahoNews.com reached out to HomeGoods’ corporate headquarters to ask when the store plans to open. We are waiting to hear back.
