POCATELLO — A new family-owned farm shop/farmers market called Keetch Made is now offering goods such as eggs, raw milk, honey, fresh produce, cleaning products, freeze-dried goods, baked goods, handmade items and other goods from 65 local vendors.

Owner Shyann Keetch told EastIdahoNews.com that the idea for the shop came after she got healthier using locally made, natural products.

“We started this farm shop just a couple months ago; we wanted to provide our community with a place where they could shop local, non-toxic products that were healthy,” Keetch said.

Keetch said it all started when she had one of her daughters. Both of them were having skin problems like rashes, and doctors and dermatologists couldn’t help. At the same time, Keetch was also suffering from other ailments.

“Because of our skin issues, that’s when I started the beef tallow products, made from 100% grass-fed, Idaho-raised beef tallow,” Keetch said. “That changed our lives. It helped us so much. It helped our skin. It totally made a huge difference. And when I started seeing that difference in my customers, then I went down this rabbit hole to try even harder to be healthier.”

“That led us into what we were eating, cleaning products — the ingredients on just about everything,” she continued.

They wanted to share their findings and products with others, so they opened their farm shop.

“That’s why we decided to open the farm shop — so that families had a place where they could come and shop confidently knowing that no matter what they purchase, it’s dye-free, free of toxins, free of synthetic chemicals, and that anything that they eat is made with unenriched and unbleached flours and natural sugars,” Keetch said.

Keetch said what really sets them apart is the non-toxic refillery — where people can get cleaning products free of synthetic fragrances and chemicals. They can come and fill up on the products as much as they need.

The shop is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., including holidays. The shop is self-serve, and customers can pay with cash or Venmo. The shop is located at 1850 Old Arbon Valley Road, Pocatello.

“It’s truly like the farmer’s market just in one building,” Keetch said.
