Gallery: Our pictures from the 2026 Slam Demolition Derby at the Eastern Idaho State Fair

BLACKFOOT – The 2026 September Slam Demolition Derby, put on by the Blackfoot elks lodge, brought more than 50 cars across multiple classes to the Eastern Idaho State Fair, with drivers ages 15 and up coming from Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and beyond to compete.

Several cars were decked out in red, white and blue to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. From dirt flying and hard-hitting collisions to cars rolling over and battling until the end, fans were treated to plenty of action throughout the night.

The September Slam traditionally serves as the final event of the Eastern Idaho State Fair, bringing the fair to a close with a night of demolition derby action.
