NEW MEADOWS — A 50-year-old New Meadows man was killed Wednesday evening after his motorcycle crossed the center line on U.S. Highway 95 and crashed off the opposite side of the road.

The crash happened around 6:40 p.m. at milepost 173.4 in Adams County, according to Idaho State Police.

Investigators say the man was riding a 2017 Harley-Davidson north on U.S. 95 when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle crossed left of center, continued across the southbound lane and left the highway on the southbound shoulder, where it crashed.
