Wall of Warmth returns for 10th year to help families in need of coats

IDAHO FALLS — As temperatures drop and winter approaches, the Wall of Warmth is returning for its 10th year, giving individuals and families a chance to get free winter clothing while encouraging the community to help neighbors in need.
The annual initiative, organized by the Hall Foundation, will feature 12 Walls of Warmth this year, with interest growing in neighboring communities looking to bring the program to their areas.
Community members can donate new or gently used winter clothing, including coats, snow pants, hats, gloves and scarves, from Oct. 19 through Nov. 19.
Donations can be dropped off at any of the program’s 82 designated collection locations. See a list of locations here.
The donated items will be sorted and placed on Walls of Warmth in 12 cities from Nov. 9 through Nov. 21. Anyone who needs winter clothing can take what they need for themselves or their family, no questions asked.
