IDAHO FALLS — It’s almost time to feast on delicious chicken fingers; Raising Cane’s opens in Idaho Falls at the end of October. The restaurant has hired 135 crew members and invites the community to its grand opening, with giveaways including a year of free chicken.

Raising Cane’s, located at 2236 South 25th East, will open its doors on Tuesday, Oct. 27. It marks the brand’s fifth opening in the state, bringing its ONE LOVE, Craveable Chicken Finger Meals, according to a news release sent to EastIdahoNews.com.

On grand opening day, the doors open at 10 a.m., but people are encouraged to arrive before 7:30 a.m. for giveaways.

Here’s a list of what will be happening:

  • A “Lucky 20” drawing where 20 customers (age 13 and older) will win FREE Cane’s for a year! Entries start at 7:30 a.m., with the drawing held at approximately 8:30 a.m. Customers must be present to win.
  • A ribbon-cutting ceremony beginning at 8:45 a.m., featuring the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and representatives from Idaho Falls School District 91.
  • A Cane’s branded trucker hat and a free Box Combo Card for the first 100 Combos purchased in-Restaurant. Limit one hat and card per Combo purchased – while supplies last.
  • Major Cane’s kudos for Customer No. 1, who will receive a special gift basket and a big welcome from the crew.
  • Morning entertainment from a DJ with appearances by the Idaho Falls cheerleaders and mascot, as well as evening DJ entertainment from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • A $1,000 check presentation to the Idaho Falls School District 91, emphasizing Raising Cane’s commitment to becoming actively involved in the communities it serves.

“Our locally hired crew is ready to serve our Craveable Chicken Finger Meals, Cane’s Sauce, and signature hospitality to our new neighbors. Just as importantly, we’re already building relationships throughout Idaho Falls to support local organizations and find ways to give back to the community that we’re proud to call home,” Balls said.

Raising Cane’s is well known for its premium chicken, marinated for at least 24 hours and cooked fresh for each order. Crew members prepare every meal by hand-battering chicken fingers and making Cane’s Sauce fresh daily, a news release said.

The new Idaho Falls restaurant features a double-lane drive-thru for customers on the go, too. Inside, walls feature photos highlighting owner and founder Todd Graves’ journey and the brand’s early days.

Raising Cane’s will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
