According to the warning, the department continues to say that U.S. government employees are not allowed to conduct official or personal travel within the Gaza Strip or in non-designated parts of the West Bank. The body of the travel warning is noticeably similar to the previous warning that was issued in July.

The State Department notes that the cease-fire agreed to and announced on Aug. 26 has held, however Americans should still be cautious when traveling in the region.
