Andrew Harrison Apologizes to Frank Kaminsky
Published at(NEW YORK) — Kentucky guard Andrew Harrison apologized for the comment he made about Wisconsin forward Frank Kaminsky following their loss on Saturday night.
Karl-Anthony Towns was asked about Kaminsky’s performance and following the question, Harrison uttered an obscenity and a racial slur directed at the Wisconsin star.
“First i want to apologize for my poor choice of words used in jest towards a player I respect and know,” Harrison tweeted after the game.
“When I realized how this could be perceived I immediately called big frank to apologize and let him know I didn’t mean any disrespect,” the tweet continued. “We had a good conversation and I wished him good luck in the championship game Monday.”
Harrison muttered “F— that n—-” as his hand covered his mouth.
“We have no comment until we have had a chance to evaluate it,” Kentucky spokesman Eric Lindsey said.
