Towns was one of the stars on the Univeristy of Kentucky team that nearly went undefeated in 2015.
He averaged 10.3 points per game this season, the second most on the team, and a team-high 6.7 rebounds per game.
He also led the team in blocked shots (88) and double-doubles (8).
The University of Kentucky product was named the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2015 and was a consensus Second-Team All-American this past season.
