REXBURG — A humorous moment during the inauguration of Brigham Young University-Idaho President Clark Gilbert has Latter-Day Saints around the world laughing.

As he stood up to begin his address Tuesday, President Dieter Uchtdorf, second counselor in the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, had a slight wardrobe malfunction.

The left side of the sash on his academic robes needed to be adjusted and, within seconds, Uchtdorf’s wife, Harriet, stood up and got the job done.

As fifteen thousand people in the BYU-Idaho center laughed, Uchtdorf cracked a smile.

“You see I’m well taken care of,” he said. “At all times and in all places. If President Monson were here, he’d say, ‘Yes, Harriet, that’s what you need to do.”
