LEGO Creates Slippers to Put an End to Parents’ Misery Once and for All

iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Lego has created slippers that the company said will spare parents the pain of accidentally stepping on a Lego brick.
In conjunction with the French advertising agency Brand Station, the slippers have been manufactured for 150 lucky raffle winners every week until the end of 2015, a rep from Lego told ABC News on Tuesday.
Open to French residents only, parents must validate their child’s holiday wishlist on Lego France’s website in order to have a chance to win one of the 1,500 slippers.
The square-shaped slippers are designed in Lego’s signature red and yellow colors with the company’s logo printed on top. They’re made with “ultra-padded” insoles to protect parents, according to Brand Station, should they land on any stray bricks.
There’s no word yet if the slippers will be available to moms and dads residing in other countries.
