TLC(LOS ANGELES) — Josh Duggar is being sued by a porn star who claims she was assaulted by the former 19 Kids and Counting star in his hotel room after propositioning her at a Philadelphia strip club in March.
In court papers obtained by People magazine, adult film actress and model Danica Dillon alleges Duggar “assaulted her to the point of causing her physical and emotional injuries” while they were having consensual sex.
According to the lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, Dillon claims she was a featured performer at The Gold Club in Philadelphia, where Duggar allegedly paid her about $600 for lap dances. She goes on to allege that he invited her to his hotel room, where they agreed to have sex. Then, he allegedly “manhandled” her to the point that she “felt as if she were being raped.” She says he paid her $1,500 “for her company.”
Dillon also asserts that Duggar tried to apologize a month later when she was dancing at another club, but claims he actually just wanted to “deceive” her into meeting with him privately, when he allegedly assaulted her again.
Dillon, a married mother of two whose birth name is Ashley Stamm-Northup, is asking for $500,000 in damages, claiming she has suffered emotionally and physically since the alleged incident.
Duggar, 27, is currently in rehab after admitting to cheating on his wife Anna using the website Ashley Madison and being addicted to porn.
A representative for the Duggar family has no comment at this time, according to People.
