ISU Faculty, Admins Face Off in Court
Published at(POCATELLO) – It was a packed courtroom Friday as Idaho State University faculty members and administrators squared off at the federal courthouse in Pocatello. Judge B. Lynn Winmill is expected to make a ruling soon as to whether free-speech rights were violated when administrators banned the Faculty Senate from using a campus-wide e-mail list. President Arthur Vailas maintains that he has the right to restrict speech if it appears to have the endorsement of the administration.
